First-team All-ACC forward Elijah Hughes has announced his plan to enter the NBA Draft process this spring. Hughes used twitter to to inform Syracuse fans of his decision.
Hughes is coming off a season that saw him lead the ACC in scoring, averaging 19.0 points per game. He also won conference statistical crowns for points (609), field goal attempts (465) and minutes played (1,175:11). Hughes scored in double digits in 30-of-32 contests. He topped 20 points 15 times (including one 33-point effort).
He was named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) and the United States Basketball Writers of America (USBWA) all-district teams.
