Glens Falls, N.Y. -- Once Joe Girard III had answered the big question of the night on Sunday by unzipping his sweatshirt to reveal a Syracuse T-shirt and then picking the Syracuse baseball cap from the assortment of six hats on the table in front of him, the next big question loomed.
How did the Syracuse coaches plan on using him?
It's an interesting question because of how Girard plays the game. He's a 6-foot-2 guard, which would normally slot him in as a point guard.
But Girard is a prolific scorer. He averaged 50 points per game last year at Glens Falls High School.
