Atlanta - The backline of Syracuse's zone defense consists of players that stand 6-foot-8, 6-foot-9 and 7-foot-2.
But a 6-foot-2 reserve guard stood even taller for Georgia Tech in the Yellow Jackets' 55-51 win over the Orange on Wednesday night.
Tadric Jackson came off the Georgia Tech bench to score 15 points; most of them coming underneath the basket in the midst of SU's tallest trees.
Jackson scored eight of his points during a three-minute flurry that kept Syracuse from rallying.
Jackson maneuvered on the baseline behind SU's 2-3 zone and scored again and again and again and again over the Orange's taller frontcourt players.
