GREENSBORO, N.C. – For the second time in three weeks, Syracuse redshirt senior Sterling Hofrichter has been named the Atlantic Coast Conference Specialist of the Week. Hofrichter earned his latest award on Monday, Sept. 30 for his performance in Saturday's 41-3 Orange victory over Holy Cross. He was previously recognized on Sept. 16 for his work in Syracuse's home opener against Clemson.
Hofrichter punted five times for 215 yards (43.0 avg.) with a net average of 42 yards per punt against Holy Cross. Four of his five punts were downed inside the 20-yard line, with three resulting in fair catches.
