Syracuse, N.Y. -- When it comes to communication with her teammates, Syracuse women's basketball guard Brittney Sykes usually prefers the most direct route possible.
That's why since the start of the season, she and freshman guard Gabby Cooper have engaged in a pre-game ritual that represents a true meeting of the minds.
Sykes will place her hands on the sides of Cooper's face and lean into her so they are touching foreheads. It's almost as if Sykes is trying to transfer her vast warehouse of basketball knowledge by osmosis.
The routine started as an outgrowth of both players enjoying skits of the Youtube character Peanut Live 215.
