SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Freshman Brycen Goodine's only field goal of the night proved to be the most important one as Syracuse (14-9, 7-5 ACC) edged Wake Forest (10-13, 3-10 ACC), 75-73, Saturday night in the Carrier Dome. Goodine played the final six minutes of the contest after key Orange players had fouled out and his two points with three seconds left were the difference.
Buddy Boeheim knocked down five 3-pointers and finished with a game-high 23 points and four steals. Elijah Hughes provided 20 points and secured a team-high eight rebounds.
