Syracuse, N.Y. — Daryl Gross watched the crowning moment of his decade as Syracuse athletic director with a drink in his hand and an internet live stream, viewing competitions in Michigan and Kentucky unfold from his laptop in California.
Syracuse, a school that has won two national titles in an academic year just once in school history, took home a pair of titles on Nov. 22.
The men's soccer team plays Clemson in the Final Four tonight at 6, with decent odds of winning a third. It is, unquestionably, the greatest all-around Fall performance that Syracuse athletics has ever enjoyed.
