Georgia, Virginia and Rutgers all fire their coaches as number of vacancies reaches 15

Syracuse, N.Y. — The number of head coach vacancies in college football increased to 15 early Saturday, another indication of the landscape facing new Syracuse athletic director Mark Coyle and a reason why he began looking for his head coach with a week remaining in the college football season.

Now up to 15: Georgia, Maryland, Memphis, Miami, Mizzou, North Texas, Rutgers, South Carolina, Syracuse, Toledo, Tulane, UCF, ULM, USC, UVA
