Rakeem Christmas and Turkish basketball team Galatasaray have agreed to part ways, according to various media reports including international basketball website Sportando.
Galatasaray has struggled this season and Christmas had played a relatively small number of minutes compared to its other imports.
Galatasaray is currently 10th out of 16 teams in Turkey's top league with a record of 3-3. The club, which also qualified to compete in the EuroCup competition, is 1-5 in that more challenging league and currently sits last in its six-team grouping. The EuroCup competition is one of the top basketball tournaments in the world outside of the NBA.
