Former Syracuse LB Alryk Perry transfers to Valdosta State

There’s been quite a bit of roster movement around the Syracuse Orange football program in the last couple weeks. The latest name to add to that list: linebacker Alryk Perry.

Perry, who announced his transfer last week, confirmed that he’ll be headed to Division II Valdosta State to complete his playing career. The news was first reported by Scout’s Mike McAllister.

The Georgia (Columbus) native’s departure makes sense given his limited playing time over the course of his career. Since arriving on campus in 2013, Perry appeared in just one game (2015 vs. Rhode Island), recording his only career tackle.
