Former Syracuse Orange guard Tyler Ennis has been traded to the Los Angeles Lakers, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical.
Ennis’s former team, the Houston Rockets, will receive Marcelo Huertas in the deal but plan to waive him for salary cap purposes, according to Wojnarowski.
Ennis is the second former SU player to be traded in the last two days. Yesterday, former one-and-done forward Chris McCullough was traded from the Nets to the Wizards.
Ennis, who only played one season at Syracuse, helped the Orange get out to a program-best 25-0 record in the 2013-14 season.
