Former Syracuse forward Tyler Roberson has signed a contract to play for one of the better teams in Greece next year.
The AEK Athens basketball club announced that it had signed Roberson on Twitter.
Along with finishing fifth in its domestic league, AEK Athens enjoyed a surprising run to win the Champions League, a high-level tournament that includes teams from across Europe.
Among the players on the AEK roster last year was Delroy James, a former Rhode Island star who competed against Boeheim's Army last weekend in The Basketball Tournament as a member of Team Fancy.
