Syracuse, N.Y. — Former Syracuse quarterback Ryan Nassib threw his first professional touchdown pass on Sunday.
With the New York Giants well on their way to a 49-17 loss at the hands of the Minnesota Vikings, Nassib relieved starter Eli Manning and completed all five of his passes for 68 yards. A 25-yard scoring strike to Myles White highlighted the brief performance.
The 6-foot-2, 223-pound Nassib has not played in any other games this season. He left his mark on the Orange record books before being selected by New York in the fourth round of the 2013 NFL Draft.
