Syracuse, N.Y. — Former Syracuse offensive line coach Joe Adam has been named the head coach at Division II Saint Anselm College, the school announced on Tuesday.
Adam spent the last two seasons at SU as an assistant under Scott Shafer. When Shafer was dismissed on Nov. 23, none of his full-time assistants were retained.
"Joe brings a wealth of college coaching experience — having spent time at all levels — Division I, II and III," SAC athletic director Daron Montgomery said in a release. "He has worn many hats as a coordinator, position coach and head coach, something we believe has prepared him well for this opportunity.
