Syracuse, N.Y. — Football made its return to America this weekend, and a handful of former Syracuse players turned into notable performances.
Defensive tackle Jay Bromley, heading into his second season with the New York Giants, is at the top of the list. Working with the second-team defense, Bromley logged two tackles and a quarterback hit.
However, his contributions went beyond the stat sheet, according to Jordan Raanan of NJ.com.
Bromley was in the backfield on at least two other plays. He also ruined at least two running plays with his push in the middle of the line.
