Syracuse, N.Y. -- Former Syracuse football cornerback Juwan Dowels is reuniting with some familiar faces for his final season.
The fifth-year graduate transfer will play at Western Michigan for the 2018 season, he said on Twitter.

Dowels was a reserve cornerback throughout his time at Syracuse and had his redshirt sophomore season sabotaged because of a knee injury that required surgery.
He played in 10 games last season, starting one, before deciding to leave the program.
