Syracuse, N.Y. - Tyler Lydon is hoping to get back on the basketball court by "early- to mid-May," and plans to be ready to play for Denver in the NBA Summer League.
So said Lydon's agent, Andy Shiffman, who spoke by phone Wednesday about Lydon and his status these days following surgery in late January to repair a meniscus tear. The knee injury was the first significant injury of Lydon's career and came in the middle of his rookie season, when he was averaging 12.6 points, 8.5 rebounds and was shooting 52.5 percent overall and 37.2 percent from the 3-point line in 15 games with the Rio Grande Vipers of the G League.
