Former Syracuse basketball star C.J. Fair will get another NBA opportunity with the Chicago Bulls. The team announced that it had signed Fair on Sunday, bringing him on after he'd played 11 games with the team's G-League team, the Windy City Bulls.
Fair replaced Jaylen Johnson on the Bulls' roster. Johnson had been signed from Windy City just one day earlier.
Chicago has already been eliminated from the NBA playoff chase and has had communication with the NBA about the appearance of blatant tanking, as the team has sat its best players frequently and used the end of the season to get a look at young and seldom-used prospects.
