Syracuse, N.Y. -- Boeheim's Army has lost a recruit.
Paul Harris confirmed on Monday that he would not be able to join the group of former Syracuse players competing in this year's The Basketball Tournament, a winner-take-all event that awards $2 million to its champion.
Harris, who played at Syracuse from 2006 to 2009, had hoped to make his Boeheim's Army debut this year.
However, Harris said via text message that he wouldn't be able to play this year.
Harris wasn't sure he would be able to make all the dates in the team's schedule, according to Boeheim's Army general manager Kevin Belbey.
