Syracuse, N.Y. -- Kris Joseph, the former Syracuse University basketball player, is no longer with the French pro team Elan Chalon, according to reports.
Joseph, a 6-foot-7 forward, had been playing for Elan Chalon in France's Pro A league since September. He was averaging 5.7 points and 1.7 rebounds.
Elan Chalon's coach announced that the team had parted ways with Joseph after to a recent game.
A second-round draft pick of the Boston Celtics in 2012, Joseph has spent much of his professional career in France, including a previous stint with Elan Chalon.
Last year, Joseph played for Enel Brindisi in Italy's Pro A Series.
