Syracuse, N.Y. -- About a month ago, Kwame Morgan had his long-time friend Arinze Onuaku over at his house for a weekend cookout.
For Onuaku, the former Syracuse basketball player, it was a rare time to be at home during a pro career that has taken him all over the globe, including a recent stint in the Philippines.
For Morgan, an administrator at Drew Freeeman Middle School in Suitland, Maryland, the weekend would be one of his last before the start of another school year.
Morgan asked Onuaku if he could do anything to help out some of the kids in need at his school.
