Last night, a little bit of history was made by a former member of the Syracuse Orange men’s soccer team. Alex Bono, goalkeeper for Toronto FC won his Toronto FC record 50th match for the Reds. In doing so, he also set records with his 100th start and 29th clean sheet of his career in Toronto.
Bono is no stranger to records and holds a few season marks from his three seasons wearing the gloves for the Orange. The marks he holds for Syracuse include season goals against average, clean sheets, consecutive shutout minutes and minutes played.
