Former Bowling Green QB Matt Johnson set to join Syracuse football coaching staff

Matt Johnson, who played quarterback for Babers at Bowling Green in 2014 and 2015, will join the Orange coaching staff as an offensive quality control coach, he announced on Instagram Sunday night.

In addition to his QC duties, Johnson becomes another point of contact for SU's quarterbacks, including junior two-year starter Eric Dungey, who are in Year 2 of learning Babers' hurry-up, spread system.

After a broken hip ended his junior season after one game, Johnson completed 67.
