Syracuse, N.Y. -- When it comes to running the Syracuse women's basketball offense this year, maestro Tiana Mangakahia will be able to scan the types of options that most point guards can only envision in their dreams.
And one of those best options will be sitting on the bench.
At least for a little bit.
Mangakahia, a native of Australia, burst upon the Division I scene last year with the dazzle of a comet. It was a fun show to watch, but also one that required a lot of energy.
If she gets just a little more rest this season, her talents could produce an even bigger payoff for the Orange.
