Ex-Syracuse player Tyler Lydon injures knee; Denver Nuggets rookie out 4 months

Syracuse, N.Y. Tyler Lydon, a rookie with the Denver Nuggets, suffered a knee injury while playing with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers of the NBA's G-League and will be out four months, according to his agent.

Lydon, who entered the NBA draft last June after playing two years at Syracuse University, underwent surgery to repair a torn lateral meniscus in his left knee on Friday. His agent, Andy Shiffman of Priority Sports, confirmed that the surgery would sideline Lydon for four months.
