Syracuse, N.Y. — Former Syracuse defensive coordinator Chuck Bullough has been hired as Eastern Michigan's defensive line coach, the school announced on Wednesday.
Bullough spent the last three years running an aggressive defense at SU under then-head coach Scott Shafer. His unit thrived in 2013 as the only FBS defense not to allow a 100-yard rusher that season. Last season, he was forced to navigate one of the toughest rebuilds in recent college football history.
Bullough becomes the seventh dismissed Shafer assistant to find a new position and the second to land at EMU, joining cornerbacks coach Fred Reed, who previously coached the Orange's secondary.
