Syracuse, N.Y. -- Syracuse football quarterback Eric Dungey broke one of Donovan McNabb's school records on Saturday night against North Carolina State.
Dungey is the school's all-time leader in total offense, breaking McNabb's record of 9,950 yards.
A senior from Lake Oswego, Ore., Dungey broke the record on a 31-yard touchdown pass to Taj Harris in the third quarter to give Syracuse a 41-27 lead heading into the fourth quarter.
Dungey started Saturday's game after a week-long mystery surrounding the quarterback position.
He emphatically bounced back in Saturday night's primetime matchup against the Wolfpack, racking up more than 350 yards of total offense (331 pass, 34 rush) and four total touchdowns by the time he surpassed McNabb in the record book.
