The annual Zaire Franklin Invitational won’t feature the three-time Syracuse Orange defensive captain this year. However, SU will still have one returning player at the ACC Football Kickoff down in Charlotte on July 18 and 19.
Senior quarterback Eric Dungey (who was there last year) will join Dino Babers, as will senior defensive tackle Chris Slayton, in representing the Orange. But it’s no surprise to see these two SU leaders heading to the podium as part of what’s really just media days but the ACC refuses to call them that.
