Hello, and welcome to college football’s early signing period! The Syracuse Orange are slated to get signed letters of intent from 19 of their 20 current committed players in the recruiting class of 2021. But of course, there can always be a surprise or two out there as well. We had one on Tuesday, when long-time pledge DE Hayden Nelson decommitted after a UCLA offer.
Heading into the day’s events, here are the names we know are signing with Dino Babers’s program on Wednesday:
- Duce Chestnut, defensive back
- Enrique Cruz, offensive line
- Kalan Ellis, offensive line
- Malcolm Folk, defensive back
- Elijah Fuentes, defensive line
- Oronde Gadsden, wide receiver
- Jatius Geer, defensive line
- Umari Hatcher, wide receiver
- Wes Hoeh, offensive line
- Josh Hough, running back
- Austyn Kauhi, offensive line
- Justin Lamson, quarterback
- Terry Lockett, defensive line
- Kendall Long, wide receiver
- Tyler Magnuson, offensive line
- Malik Matthew, linebacker
- Derek McDonald, defensive line
- Landon Morris, tight end
- Austin Roon, linebacker
And here’s who is set to sign in February:
- Jaelin Moss, defensive line
If there are any new names to add, William Wells would be the most likely one.
