SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Syracuse quarterback Eric Dungey signed with the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent on Thursday night. The record-breaking Orange signal-caller is expected to attend the Giants two-day rookie minicamp, which opens tomorrow in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
Dungey is the second member of the 2018 Orange to join the Giants. New York drafted defensive tackle Chris Slayton with the 31st pick in the seventh round (No. 245 overall) of the 2019 NFL Draft.
A native of Lake Oswego, Oregon, Dungey finished his career as Syracuse's all-time leading passer and set or tied 24 school records in 39 games (38 starts) for the Orange from 2015-18.
