Donovan McNabb fired by ESPN amid sexual harassment allegations

Former Syracuse and NFL star quarterback Donovan McNabb was fired by ESPN on Friday, per Sports Business Journal’s John Ourand. It came a month after he was suspended by the company amid sexual harassment allegations.

Eric Davis, another former NFL player employed by ESPN, was also fired on Friday due to allegations in the same lawsuit.

In the suit, filed on Dec. 11 by a former NFL Network wardrobe stylist, McNabb was accused of sending inappropriate text messages. He was one of eight accused in that lawsuit, including six former NFL players.

Prior to the suspension and subsequent firing, McNabb had a presence on ESPN’s television and radio offerings.
