Syracuse football coach Dino Babers reflects on 9/11
Syracuse, N.Y. -- Dino Babers was an assisant coach at Texas A&M during the Sept. 11 terror attacks 16 years ago.
During Monday's news conference, held on the anniversary of the attacks, Babers reflected on what the day means to him.
"I'm a military kid," Babers said, "so the first thing I think about is, 'This is the real deal' and guys are about to get activated and military bases are about to be emptied and military people are about to be deployed."
Babers then paused.
