Syracuse, N.Y. -- Syracuse football coach Dino Babers dropped a pretty perfect analogy when reflecting on last year's extraordinary 76-61 loss at Pittsburgh, a game that featured more points than any game in major college football history.
Three days before the two teams clash for the first time since their previous, record-setting meeting, Babers compared the emotions of watching it all unfold on the field to a brutal, legendary boxing match between Marvin Hagler and Tommy Hearns.

"I've never been through something like that before," Babers said Wednesday morning on the ACC coaches' teleconference.
