Syracuse, N.Y. -- Pat McCabe put a lacrosse stick into the hands of his daughter, Christina, at a very young age.
That move made sense. Pat is on the short list of the greatest defenseman the sport has ever seen, a three-time first-team All-American at Syracuse University and an accomplished pro.
But bloodlines only run so deep. Christina took that stick and eventually headed toward the other end of the field, to attack.
"From since when I was little, I was just never into defense. I don't know why,'' Christina said. "I think that it was more of my stick skills was the reason I became an attacker.
