Syracuse Orange senior Freddie Crittenden III was the top American collegiate finisher in the 110m hurdles at the Penn Relays. Crittenden turned in a time of 13.44, just .02 seconds off his school record, as he finished 2nd behind Ronald Levy of Jamaica. With just two weeks until the ACC Outdoor Championships, Crittenden continues to hold the fastest legal-wind time in the country and last night he earned Male Performance of the Year at the Cuse Awards.
While Crittenden was the only Orange athlete to compete at Penn, a number of Syracuse athletes had successful meets at the Cornell Big Red Invitational on Sunday.
