Syracuse, N.Y. — Robert Hatter loves a challenge.
His parents, Robert and Renee, instilled a sense of confidence in their son as he grew up in Houston. Fear nothing, they told him. Believe in yourself. Trust your abilities.
So when Hatter and his Cornell teammates board their team bus and motor toward their noon game with Syracuse on Saturday, the Big Red junior will cherish a chance to test his game against a team from a power college basketball conference.
"These are the games that I live for," Hatter said.
