Syracuse, N.Y. — We were all pretty sure that Syracuse star Mike Gbinije belonged among the Top 100 players in the country before the season began.
Less than a month into the season, he's proven it, earning a mea culpa from CBS Sports in the process. The website left Gbinije out of its Top 100 players list when the season began, then jumped him all the way to No. 28 during its first update.
"Look, we screwed up big time not putting Gbinije on our preseason list," CBS Sports' Sam Vecenie wrote.
