Syracuse, N.Y. — The Carrier Dome renovations previously announced by Syracuse will include an air conditioning system, according to Steve Infanti, a reporter with News Channel 9 and Orange Nation on ESPN Radio Syracuse.
Infanti Tweeted on Friday that the renovations would include air conditioning, citing Pete Sala, Syracuse's vice president and chief facilities officer. Sala later confirmed the news to The Post-Standard/Syracuse.com.

Syracuse had said in May that air conditioning was one of the possible upgrades being considered during the renovation.
