Syracuse, N.Y. — The Syracuse Board of Trustees will discuss the future of the Carrier Dome during its regularly-scheduled November meeting, according to a report in The Daily Orange, the school's independent student-run newspaper.

According to Justin Mattingly's report, Chancellor Kent Syverud said he expects a decision on the building's future to be made by the end of the academic year, a deadline he'd set previously.

Syverud seemed to indicate that he didn't expect a final answer to come out of the meeting. The Daily Orange reported that Syverud would be "surprised if there isn't some input and discussion after the November board meeting.
