Carmelo Anthony moves up to 27th on NBA's all-time scoring list in Knicks loss to New Orleans

Carmelo Anthony moved past Adrian Dantley on the NBA's all-time scoring list on Friday night, scoring 26 points in a 104-92 loss against the New Orleans Pelicans.

Dantley is the second NBA Hall of Famer that Anthony has passed on the scoring list this season, joining Elgin Baylor. Last year, Anthony passed Larry Bird and Clyde Drexler, among other notable names.

Dantley was drafted sixth overall in 1976 by the Buffalo Braves. He played 19 NBA seasons, leading the league in scoring twice and averaging more than 30 points per game four times. Dantley's son, Cameron, played football for Syracuse.
