Two years ago Carmelo Anthony was out of the NBA and no one really knew why. The man who carried the Syracuse Orange to the 2003 National Championship was looking for a chance to continue his career and the Portland Trailblazers are sure happy he didn’t give up.
Last night in Atlanta Carmelo moved past Elvin Hayes into 10th place on the NBA All-Time scoring list.
Melo has now scored 27,318 points in his career and with seven games remaining this season he needs 91 points to pass Moses Malone for 9th place.
