Can a Northeast college football team win a national title again?
At a recent camp in Pennsylvania, Syracuse Orange coach Dino Babers seemed to buy into the idea. He didn’t necessarily make it all about SU, mind you. But the entire region’s collection of football teams got some love from Dino as he told attendees to go to any school in the region — recruiting rivals like Penn State, Pitt or Rutgers, and in-state competitor Army.
Babers believes one of those schools can win a title, provided local talent stays local and doesn’t head south.
