Wednesday provided what appears to be a first in college football history: A bowl game was cancelled.
The First Responders’ Bowl in Dallas was called in the first quarter on account of lightning and will not be rescheduled. So in a stroke of potential luck, Steve Addazio found a way to avoid going 7-6 again at Boston College.
Such a development got numerous parties thinking about how weather could affect other postseason games this year — including the Camping World Bowl. However, the Syracuse Orange’s Twitter feed did come with the response you’d expect (and will appreciate).
