Buffalo Bills safety Micah Hyde to miss rest of season with neck injury, agent says

BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Bills safety Micah Hyde will miss the rest of the 2022 season because of a neck injury, his agent, Jack Bechta, tweeted Saturday morning.

Hyde will be placed on injured reserve Saturday. He was not at practice throughout the week but did make a brief appearance in the locker room.

Bechta wrote that a healthy return in 2023 is expected for Hyde, who is under contract with the Bills through next season.

Coach Sean McDermott declined to get into details when asked about Hyde's injury throughout the week.

"[Hyde and cornerback Dane Jackson, who is also dealing with a neck injury] both seem to be moving around or walking around or in the building here," McDermott said Friday.
