Syracuse moves up to the Sweet Sixteen
Detroit -- Syracuse guard and former walk-on Braedon Bayer was pressed into service for the final 6:39 when Frank Howard fouled out of Sunday's game against Michigan State.
Bayer held up just fine as the Orange pulled off a stunning 55-53 upset of the Spartans in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
With the win, the senior got the honor of moving the Orange forward in the bracket as part of a new tradition in the NCAA Tournament. Check out the video above.
