In previous years, Boeheim’s Army has worn jerseys that represent former Syracuse basketball teams. This team’s uniforms are no different. Two years ago, the team wore jerseys which carried Boeheim’s Army in the vintage Syracuse basketball print.
Last year, the team chose to wear similar jerseys with the same vintage print on the front, but also camo in honor of United States military personnel. This likely done to honor Syracuse Athletics connection to Fort Drum.
In addition, the team wore t-shirts during practice and on the bench reading “Pearl” in vintage Syracuse basketball print. This was done in honor of Syracuse basketball legend Pearl Washington, who passed away after a battle with cancer last year.
