Syracuse, N.Y. -- Frame by tantalizing frame, the talents of the Syracuse women's basketball team's freshmen post players are starting to unfold.
And as the big-picture potential of power forward Digna Strautmane and center Amaya Finklea-Guity starts to come into greater focus for the players themselves, the Orange could become an even more dangerous team.
On a team of high-flying, multi-skilled perimeter players, Strautmane and Finklea-Guity are the complementing forces that round out Syracuse. Their value was highlighted to perhaps the greatest extent so far this season on Thursday night when the Orange crushed Clemson 86-51 in the Carrier Dome.
