Washington — The Syracuse basketball team beat Georgetown 86-79 in overtime on Saturday at Capital One Arena. The Orange improved to 9-1 with the win.

Tyus Battle did not play his best game Saturday. But he drained huge threes down the stretch, including one that got SU to within 69-67 in regulation and then another that opened a 72-69 Orange lead in overtime.
