GREENSBORO, N.C. – Syracuse junior guard Tyus Battle was named to the All-ACC Third Team in voting announced Monday by the Atlantic Coast Conference.
The Orange's leading scorer, Battle received 128 points in the balloting. Votes were cast by a selection panel made up of the league's 15 head coaches and 55 media members.
Battle, who was an All-ACC Second Team choice last season, is sixth in the conference in scoring (17.2 ppg) and third in the league in minutes played (36.3). He's scored in double figures 27 times in 31 games this season and ranks second on the team in assists (77).
