GREENSBORO, N.C. (theACC.com) – Sophomore Tyus Battle and freshman Marek Dolezaj have been named to the All-Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Men's Basketball team, as announced today by Commissioner John Swofford.
To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.00 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.00 cumulative average during his academic career.
Battle has started all 29 games for Syracuse and leads the team in scoring average (19.8). He has scored in double figures in 28-of-29 games and has tallied at least 20 points in 14 of those.
